Karate employs techniques that build strength, endurance, flexibility, posture, balance and coordination. While the physical benefits of karate training are undeniable, this popular activity imparts many non-physical benefits as well, including: self-esteem, confidence, discipline and focus.

When one considers this, (and a personal fascination with the show, “Kung Fu” on the part of many Windmill staffers), it’s no wonder we include martial arts training as part of our activities curriculum!
