The teachers are amazing, and turnover is essentially zero – they are wonderful, caring, kind people, and they stay (in the world of child care this alone is amazing) because they get what a special place it is, and that they, the teachers are part of the magic.

Hi! My name is Ms. Ashley or Ms. Ashmo. I have been a member of the Windmill family since 2008. I started working as a Camp Counselor and have been a Pre-Kindergarten teacher since 2012. I can also be found assisting Ms. Pammy in the planning of summer camp programs and Windmill events throughout the year. Since my time at Windmill, I have learned to appreciate the great outdoors, a random act of kindness, and the true meaning of family and friendship. When not at Windmill, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Corey, and our three-legged hound, Ruger. We can be found on Lake Nockamixon fishing or taking walks around Perkasie. Corey and I are looking forward to the arrival of our first child in June 2019!

My name is Miss Dee-Dee and I have been with the Windmill family since the fall of 1994. I began working at the Toddle house and over the years I have made my way through almost all of the classrooms. For the last 11 years I have been teaching Pre- Kindergarten. I have an associates degree in Early Childhood Education. During summer camp, I can be found at the pool teaching swim lessons and keeping everyone safe in the water. When I am not at Windmill, I stay busy raising my 2 teen aged boys and 2 rescue pups!

I have been working at Windmill Day School since 2003 and I have not missed a summer camp since 1996! I work with our Pre-K, but I have also worked with Kindergarten and our three year olds. During the summer, I help run our Sports/Athletic program and I am also the C.I.T. and J.C. supervisor. Outside of Windmill, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Brittany; my son, Sonny; and our dog, Penny.

My family and I have been coming to Windmill for years: I started as a camper, and became a counselor in 2011 after getting my Medical Degree from Xavier University School of Medicine. While working here during the school year, I also earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health, which has taken me away from working at Windmill full time. I now live in Delaware, but I can’t stay away from Windmill too long – you’ll see me now and then in a theater production, on a computer, or consulting on medical issues. Even though I’ve earned a lot of recognition in my career, my favorite achievement is finally getting on the ten year tree!

I started at Windmill in June of 2011 heading up the Art program at summer camp. I have since worked in most of the different classrooms but have been a staple with the older toddles for the last several years. I graduated from Rider University in 2005 with a BA in Theater and Journalism. After working as an assistant in a preschool autistic class, I decided to get my teaching certificate and completed the New Pathways to Teaching in NJ program in 2009. When I’m not at Windmill, I’m spending time with my husband and two sons, or at the ballet studio taking classes and rehearsing.

I came into Windmill for an interview with Miss Lisa and “Uncle Leon” in 1989 and never left! I wear many hats at Windmill but during the school year, I work with the 3 year class and am ALWAYS planning for upcoming summer camp! I am the mother of 3 children and “Meemaw” to 6 grandchildren. I spend most non-working moments either running, swimming, cycling or doing yoga in training for my next Ironman competition!

I have been at Windmill since 1980! I spent most afternoons during my high school career helping my mom with some of our first “customers.” After graduating from Millersville University in 1991, I worked in Atlanta full time as a costumer in the film and television industry. I finally came back “home” in 2006 and have been here year round since then. I love to travel with my husband David (aka Mr. Dave a Roo) and polo is my passion. You can check me out sporting our Windmill team shirts on Saturdays during the summer months at Tinicum Park Polo Club.

Sharon has been with Windmill since August of 1990 and was a long time resident of Warrington. Sharon began working with the infants and now works with the young toddlers in the Toddler house. Sharon is one of the few long time Windmill teachers to have the pleasure of seeing her students grow old enough to send their children to Windmill. Things really do come full circle! Sharon is married with 2 Windmill veterans, Sam and Isabella. On the weekends, you can find Sharon and her family rooting for the Phillies in the summer and the Eagles and Penn State in the fall. Much to her husband’s displeasure, one of Sharon’s favorite pastimes is her love of line shopping. Her family currently resides in Audubon, Pa.
